I think it's funny b/c I always randomly select and deselect while I'm reading. Thursday isn't so good for me for Bryant Park, but it's fine. I just won't stay too long :)

i just got back from a very nice lunch with some of my fellow co-workers. rupa, grant, jonathan, and i went to subway, then we took our subs and sat in bryant park. it's so nice and sunny out! then tonight i have that pilates class that i loved last week. yay for working out my abs! and then tomorrow night we're going to watch that colombian movie i've really wanted to see, maria full of grace. have i told you about it, megan? it's about a 17 year old colombian girl who agrees to be a drug mule. she has to swallow like 60 huge capsules full of cocaine and bring them to nyc. all for just $5000. sad, huh? my dad saw it a couple of weeks ago and said it was really good. you and edgar should go see it!

he is fine that you guys are stealing me for the weekend :) in fact, he originally had friday night off and he said he didn't want to do dinner with us because he wanted to give us ample time to hang out and that he knew it would be different if he was there.

actually, our roles have been reversed! i'm cleaning out my life and giving myself time to relax - and he's getting busy. i had all sunday morning to hang out with him (until 5:30 when i had to work) and he studied all day. in fact, jess was at work so he could have come over to the apartment but since he added a class late, he was playing catch up (which he did) i think we get to hang out tonight. there is a rochester food festival tonight at the public market - 1. i love things like food festivals - you get to try a little bit of everything 2. i've never been to the public market. i know it won't be the same as the weekends (its a big fish/farmer's market) but at least i'd get to see it. and if i need to come in tonight to the lab, i think it will just be for like 20 minutes. which is what i said last week at this time, and was here for 2 hours. but this week, i know i can get in and i'm more confident in my ability! so maybe it WILL only be 20 mintues :)

speaking of, i think i may go to seattle next summer...to try it out...that was the latest conversation dev and i had friday night at taco bell. i was asking how id get my car there, how id find an apt, etc etc...and he was like well if you go with me, they will pay to ship the car, and i was like that sounds good...but i cant go till at least next summer etc etc...and he was like well it looks like im not going in dec, and if you def would go in the summer then id think about waiting it out so we could go together...

bryant park is a park near times sq, there is apparently a really fun outside bar there that we had been meaning to go to all summer and never got around to it....

about the weather - yea, i definitely didn't check the weather before i left my apt this morning. and it's always hot in my room regardless of anything, so i was the only asshole out on the street this morning without a sweater or jacket. i agree with nush - i refuse to wear a jacket yet. i guess long sleeves and sweaters will do. it's so unfair - summer took forever to begin this year, and it ended so quickly :(

i'm sleepy. i had a good weekend. i even went to church yesterday! rupa - i went to the church right next to mosh's apt, on sullivan and houston. the priest was a little bitter cause the church was really empty, and most of the people there were really old people. he's like: "this is a young neighborhood. look around, the seats are empty." blah blah blah. maybe the reason the church was so empty is cause nobody likes going to church if you're just going to get yelled at! oh well. i got my tix to go home for thanksgiving, too. they're soo expensive! i hate that airlines can do that - just charge whatever they want whenever they feel like it.

the weather outside is frightful . . .

i just looked at the weather forecast. it is cold here today, but its supposed to warm up for the rest of the week . . . and then rain on friday and make the rest of the weekend cold :( which is what happened this past week . . . last week was sooo nice . . . and then it rained a lot of friday evening and it got cold (i refuse to close windows so i've been sleeping under 2 comforters to keep warm at night . . .) just to give you guys a heads up for planning purposes. if you want to check weather.com - the zip code at my apartment is 14607.

there is def a ny&company around - east view mall (the home of changs) so it would be really easy to go there whenever you want. the mall is pretty nice - h&m, banana republic, williams sonoma, coach, etc . . . charlotte russe in case julie wants another cheapy going out shirt :)
but the schedule has changed! now, i want to do dinner at 8 on friday (pick up from airport, go to changs) but i don't know if you guys want that. ryan doesn't work at all on saturday, but he works friday night on the patio. so, i was thinking we could have a late dinner there on saturday, and then go to old toad (british pub, very casual sit down and drink beer). we could def convince a decent amount of changs people to go to old toad after work (so, the bar around 11) but if you guys don't think you'll want to go out to dinner friday night, then just tell me :)
basically, i have no real plans for the weekend. but i figure - hanging out with you guys is enough for me :) and its my birthday, so i don't care what anyone else wants ;)

my weekend was fun:) after thurs night though i had zero desire to drink or go out and do anything that required energy...

sat i studied in the morning, made omelletes, bacon, toast for me and dev, he and i worked out together, went shopping - he picked out clothes for me - it was cute :) and then we had taco bell for dinner - i tried the new spicy chicken burrito on the commercials - it was good, but too cheesy for my liking...im gonna stick to the bean tacos :) megan - did you know i dont like chalupas anymore???

and sunday, i made the same breakfast again, and then he left, and i studied all day. went to a pilates class that at the time i thought sucked, but after wards when i couldnt walk realized it did do something....and then went to nisha and avanes apt (nisha is chets sister, av is akhils sister, they live together now on wall st...). they made dinner...came home, did more work then went to bed.

megan - is there a ny&company near your apt? on the website there are a few in rochester, and the timings for the one in ny are soo inconvenient....just an idea if we had time to go to a real mall :)
