i avoid most alumn and mit events like the plague! don't get me wrong - i love MIT. but i like to keep it in boston and just go back and visit whenever i feel like it.

chris vinikie was one of our TAs. we went out with him once in boston i think. he was funny.

i havent' seen the show desperate housewives. when's it on? i've heard a few people talk about it.

news about the yankees's loss is still all over the papers. it's pretty funny, cause they're going over all the reasons why the yankees lost, like management, poor coaching decisions, poor pitching, etc. and then finally, the last reason - the one they don't even want to admit: "maybe the red sox are just a better team" :)
